Early
season teal and wood duck hunting this year was outstanding. My
duck hunting clients all had opertunities to bag a limit of blue-winged
teal. One group of hunters bagged a total of 11 blue-winged teal
during the opening day afternoon hunt. The action was fast with
all hunters getting steady action. Quite a few duck were un-recoverable
due to the very heavy brush on the lake. Best action came to the
duck hunters that used a Mojo (mechanical) battery operated decoy.

and a friend got their limit of blue-winged teal during a morning
of duck hunting on September 24, 2007 with Captain Ron. They had
an excellent morning of duck hunting with many shots at wood ducks
and blue-winged teal. They hunted over decoys in the Fisheating
Creek Bay area of Lake Okeechobee.

teal and woodies during a morning of early season duck hunting
on September 23, 2007 with Captain Ron. Ducks were hunted in the

shots at blue-winged teal and woodies during a Saturday opening
day afternoon of early season duck hunting on September 22, 2007
with Captain Ron. They picked up 11 blue-winged teal and could not find several others. Ducks
were hunted in the Fisheating Creek Bay areas of Lake Okeechobee.

Ron. George shot several other teal and a wood duck that we could
not find. Ducks were hunted in the north shore areas of Lake Okeechobee.
