how I have made duck hunting on Florida's Lake Okeechobee something

The Florida
early wood duck season opening day on Lake Okeechobee this year
was fair. The early blue-winged teal opening day season
likewise was fair. Hurricane Jeanne which allowed us to get a
morning of duck hunting in was the reason the duck hunting was
not as good as it usually is. Our Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning
and Sunday afternoon duck hunts were canceled because of the hurricane.
We did manage to get a morning of duck hunting in on Wednesday
closing day of the duck early season. Wednesday duck hunting overall
was poor. Hurricane winds and heavy rain fall hurricane Jeanne
dropped on us raised the lake's water level to nearly 17 1/2 feet.
Hurricane force winds and local flooding was the primary reason
for the early duck hunting season fair to poor hunting this year.
