duck hunting on Florida's Lake Okeechobee something that is now
very affordable!
The Florida
early duck season on Lake Okeechobee this year was really very
good and far better then expected. Drought conditions and fire
that swept the parched fields during the summer months made for
a grim outlook of having a good duck hunting early season. We
have to thank tropical storm Gabrial for making the early duck
season good. Luckily we caught some of the heavy rain it dumped
on Florida. The parched fields soaked up the rain water as fast
as it fell. Some of the low field areas that held water formed
pot holes that was only several inches deep. These pot holes is
what made the early season duck hunting great.
