November opening day duck hunting for teal Florida mallards and ring-necked ducks on the flats south of the Monkey Box was really very good. Most of my clients had plenty of action shots during the morning and afternoon hunts. The ring-necked duck hunting was far better then expected. Duck hunting outlook for December on Lake Okeechobee is expected to be very good this year!

Lake Okeechobee duck hunter Mr. Zeba, his dad and a friend (Miami, FL - ph: 561-542-0407) had some good action with mallards, blue-winged teal and ring-necked ducks during a morning of duck hunting on November 30, 2003 with Ron's Guide Service. Ducks were taken over decoys in the flooded field areas south of the Monkey Box area of Lake Okeechobee.

Lake Okeechobee duck hunters Bryce Statham (Pembroke Pines, FL - ph: 954-486-8687), Joe and Chuck downed a limit of ducks during a morning of duck hunting on November 23, 2003 with Ron's Guide Service. Their limit consisted of ring-necks, blue-winged teal and a rudy duck. Several of the ducks could not be found in the high weeds. Ducks were taken in the flooded field areas south of the Monkey Box area of Lake Okeechobee.
