Duck Hunting Report Lake Okeechobee Florida
December 7, 2002 Morning Duck Hunt

Lake Okeechobee duck hunters Rob Stevenson (Naples, FL - ph: 239-248-1607 - e-mail: Robert_Stevenson@notes.ntrs.com) and 4 friends downed about 25 ducks during a morning and afternoon of duck hunting on December 7, 2002 with Cap'n Ron. They each had a limit of Florida mallards. A drake widgeon, ring-necked, blue-winged teal and merganser ducks was also taken. Several of the ducks could not be found in the high weeds. Ducks were taken in the flooded field areas south of the Monkey Box area of Lake Okeechobee.
