Duck Hunting Report Lake Okeechobee Florida
December 8, 2001

Florida duck hunters husband and wife Brad and Jackie Otto (Lago, FL - ph: 727-397-3075 - e-mail: jackieotto@msn.com), Jim Duncan (Largo, FL - ph: 813-610-8520 - e-mail: JMDSQUARED@aol.com) and Craig Talbot on their second morning of duck hunting on December 8, 2001 bagged 7 ring-necked ducks which brought their 2 mornings of duck hunting total bag to 30 ducks. On their first morning of duck hunting on December 7 with Cap'n Ron they bagged 23 ducks. Their 2 mornings of duck hunting on December 7 & 8, 2001 total bag consisted of 25 ring-necked ducks, 4 blue-winged teal and 1 hen wood duck. Ducks were taken over decoys in the flooded field areas south of the Monkey Box area of Lake Okeechobee.

Ron, yet again, you put us on the ducks. Brad, Craig, Jim and I had a ball getting our limits each on Friday. You did your best to get us a limit each on Saturday too, we were not that far from it. Taking us to two places after the first spot ran dry shows me that you work really hard to please your clients. You work hard for your clients, I know, as we travel a lot just to duck hunt, from Stuttgart, Arkansas to Lake Okeechobee. You are a lot of fun to be with too, enjoyed the breakfast after the hunt and your cheerful stories of other adventures. We will be back again, probably in January, and you can count us in for next season too. Thanks again, included are a few pictures of Dec. 7th and 8th that we spent with you.
