Duck Hunting Report Lake Okeechobee Florida
January 8 & 9, 2000

Lake Okeechobee duck hunter Ron Houck, wife Dana and 8 year-old son Chris (Port Salerno, FL -ph: 561-283-8219 - e-mail: fish8219@aol.com) and friend Denny Hudson duck hunted 2 mornings (Jan. 8, 9, 2000) on Lake Okeechobee with Cap'n Ron. Ron Houck and Denny Hudson did the actual duck hunting. His wife and son tagged along and watched the action. They each bagged ring-necked, blue-winged teal and a pair of Florida mallard duck. Ducks were taken from float tubes over decoys from the Moonshine area of Lake Okeechobee.
