Lake Okeechobee duck hunters Gary Heggemeier (Ft. Myers, FL - ph: 941-543-2474) and a friend shot a pair of Florida mallards and ring-necked ducks during a morning of duck hunting on December 26, 2001 with Cap'n Ron. Ducks were taken over decoys in the flooded field areas south of the Monkey Box.
