Duck Hunting Report Lake Okeechobee Florida
January 13, 2002

Florida Lake Okeechobee duck hunters Capt. John Gargan and his son Joe and 4 year-old grandson Derick (Islamorada, FL - ph: 305-852-3660 - e-mail: JGargan293@aol.com) had an exciting afternoon of duck hunting for mallards, blue-winged teal and ring-necked ducks on January 13, 2002 with Cap'n Ron. John rigged up a raft that safely held little Derick. Ducks were taken over decoys in the flooded field areas south of the Monkey Box.

How did the last 2 days of the season go? I guess your glad it's
over, now you can rest a bit. My Grandson had a blast. We got some good
pics of him in his boat and holding a Mallard. I told him you were gonna put
him on your web site, so he is waiting to see himself on the computer screen.
