Lake
Okeechobee duck hunters Mike Compitiello (Plantation, FL - e-mail:
mikecompitiello@cs.com) and a friend had some action shots at
mallards, blue-winged teal, ring-necked ducks and wood ducks during
a morning of duck hunting on December 6, 2001 with Cap'n Ron.
Photo on left is Mike with a drake ring-necked duck. Photo on
right is of Mike holding a hen wood duck. The drake somehow avoided
the shot pattern. Ducks were taken over decoys in the flooded
field areas south of the Monkey Box area of Lake Okeechobee.
