Lake Okeechobee early season duck hunter Matt Booth (Punta Gorda, FL - ph: 941-637-1522) downed a blue-winged teal and had some shots at others during a morning of duck hunting on September 21, 2002 with Cap'n Ron. Ducks were taken in the flooded field areas south of the Monkey Box area of Lake Okeechobee.
