Lake Okeechobee duck hunters
Marvin Bartz (Venice, FL - e-mail: marvbartz@aol.com) and a friend
had some action shots at mallards, blue-winged teal, widgions
and ring-necked ducks during an afternoon and morning of duck
hunting on December 14 & 15, 2004 with Captain Ron. Ducks
were hunted over decoys in the flooded field areas south of the
Monkey Box area of Lake Okeechobee. They also combined a 2 half
day bass fishing trip on the afternoon of December 14th. &
the morning of the 15th. They caught and released about 20 bass
up to 5 lbs. Bass were caught in the North Shore and Monkey Box
areas of Lake Okeechobee.
