Duck Hunting Early Season Report

Lake Okeechobee duck hunter (front left) Fred Adrio (Marco Island, FL - ph: 941-394-9439 - e-mail: Fritz8172@aol.com) bagged a hen wood duck, shot a drake woodie he could not find, seen plenty of ducks and had some action shots at blue-winged teal and woodies during a Saturday opening morning of early season duck hunting on September 20, 2003 with Cap'n Ron. Ducks were hunted in the flooded field and timber areas south of the Monkey Box area of Lake Okeechobee.

These 3 hunters had 5 woodies and another one that could not be found that would of given them a wood duck limit each.
